Having Problems with Paypal

I have been trying hard to resolve a problemI have with paypal last 2 weeks. I have to submit some documents like:

- Valid photo ID

  • Passport
  • Driver’s License
  • National Identity Card

- Recent statement for the MasterCard Card XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
- Proof of address for XXXXX XXXXXX, Istanbul, XXXXXXXX, XXXXX, Turkey

  • Utility Bill

That’s why I can’t accept any sponsorship banners on the sidebar. Eventhough I have emailed them numerous times, they have not approved my documents yet. I will set up a merchant account as soon as possible after they approve my documents. Eventhough Turkhitbox.com has increased its reader count alot, the price for the 125×125 sponsorship buttons will stay the same.

Secondly, as of today, Turkhitbox.com made $13.52 with Google Adsense this month. If I had the chance to accept some of the sponsorship requests, I would have my highest earning month! It’s nice to see that this blog is continueing its growth.

I guess "A Blog about Nothing" presented my feelings better :)

I have found 2 things that severely suck with Paypal. First, when I pay for an item and have PayPal take the money from my bank account, the funds are immediately withdrawn, yet it takes over 10 days (11 and counting, actually), for the payment to reach the seller. I’ve sent 2 E-mails to PayPal complaining about this, and have not received a response. In future, I’m going to send a money order if the buyer does not take credit cards directly. PayPal SUCKS!!!!

Hi Claude,

the reason that your paypal payments are probably taking so long is that you are sending money via paypals eCheque service rather than straight transfer. do a quick google on paypal echeque etc and have a look at your paypal options.

I hope that helps

David
