Well, first of all, happy new years to all turkhitbox.com readers! It’s been a lovely year with lots of challenges for me and thats the reason I loved it. Especially the fact that this blog continues not to increase its adsense earnings, I guess I will still have a challenge in 2008. At least, I was able to increase the November earnings.
Adsense earnings totaled up to $17,59 without the last day of 2007 since the server was down that day! (What a way to welcome new year eh?). But eventhough this seems like a small increase, it proved some my points:
- More ad units = More income
- More frequent posting= More income
I could have tripled my earnings last month by selling the ad space on the sidebar, but due to pay pal sucking too much, I could not!
Eventhough this blog does not generate enough income for me, it does not stop me from investing into other websites. That’s why I bought a high-traffic Turkish niche website 2 weeks ago. I am planning on making a post about it, so stay tuned and subscribe to my RSS Feed.
I'm not sure but I read somewhere that Google bans ad publishers when they publish their incomes.
That's not totally right. You can publish your earnings, but you cannot publish information like eCPM or CTR.
I also read something about it but i am curious why John Chow and many others share their income and eCPM. There may not be a big problem :)
